More than 1,700 current and retired employees gave to this year鈥檚 campaign, which provides funding to 47 health and human service organizations in Choctaw, Clarke, Mobile and Washington counties to address key social issues in the areas of health, education and financial stability.

Lisa Mestas, chief nursing officer and associate system administrator at 新澳门六合彩开奖记录 Health, Andr茅 Green, Ph. D., associate vice president of academic affairs and Stephen Kayes, Ph. D., professor of medical education (retired) served as this year鈥檚 新澳门六合彩开奖记录 United Way Campaign co-chairs.

鈥淭he United Way鈥檚 mission goes hand-in-hand with the values of the University,鈥� said Green. 鈥淭hey provide essential resources to the people of our community, and we are proud to be one of the organization鈥檚 largest employee campaign partners for more than 20 years.鈥�

Since 1998, the University and 新澳门六合彩开奖记录 Health have raised over $5.5 million for the United Way of Southwest Alabama through its annual campaign.
